(Although it notes The Discovery Awards, which is our other education program, this donation will go directly to funding 100% of the total ticket purchase for THE WIZ.) About Broadway Bridges Tulsa®

Broadway Bridges Tulsa® is a new initiative aimed at expanding access to Broadway touring performances for high school students in the greater Tulsa area. Building on the success of its New York City counterpart, Broadway Bridges®, this program provides discounted tickets to productions presented by Celebrity Attractions at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. By collaborating with touring productions, Celebrity Attractions will be able to offer affordable tickets to local high schools, making field trips to see touring Broadway in Tulsa a reality. This initiative enriches students’ arts education, promotes cultural equity, and cultivates a diverse future audience for live theatre. 100% of donated funds will be used to cover the ticket cost for the number of students detailed above.

The program launched by sending fifty Tulsa Public School students to MRS. DOUBTFIRE - The Musical in November of 2024. The second and final production during the pilot season was LES MISÉRABLES in January of 2025 for 70 students. This effort relies on donor funding to underwrite the cost of the tickets. The producers of participating Broadway Tours generously discount tickets in Orchestra and Mezzanine seats making it possible for students to attend each production in great seats. Often this is the first time these students have attended a production at the Tulsa PAC. Your generous support is helping support accessibility and building theatre audiences of the future.
